hands off ladies......he's MINE!

my husband (that's him --up there, after a long day at work--he has 2 of his own businesses, which is why this is so funny! he's savvy enough to run those, but....) and i get up early around here. we drink coffee(he makes it), watch the news and laugh..... alot..... especially this morning. a medical segment on the news mentioned a "below the knee amputation" ...... i could see the wheels turning ..... then the question...."what's a 'baloney amputation?' " AND THAT'S WHY I'M KEEPING HIM!!!

one of my four leggers is sick.......

this is my buddy-mr. norwall. he is a BIG love bug. he loves me, he loves the family. he is BIG... he stands 3ft. tall--feet flat on the ground-to the top of his head. he is very sweet and gentle--you can stick your head in his mouth and he will never flinch!! i love mr. norwall. he had to go to the doctor for an infected gland(in his bottom). he did NOT LIKE that check up. he hid his head behind me the whole time he was at the doctor. he has to take medication 2xs a day....he hides from medication. he is feeling better...

how hot is it where you are?

it's 88 degrees here, with 70% humidity which comes to 100 degrees here. now i know it's been hotter here and in other places. but i'm getting ready to start my kiln which will heat up to 1800 degrees.....i'm hoping that withe it being SO hot it will heat up quicker!!! we are also expecting the first hurrican/tropical storm of the season...."bill" should be here sometime saturday. the surfers really look forward to it...think i might learn to surf ...one day......... not this weekend
